"Stand Up, Break Out of Your Shell, and Lead The Pack!"
Whenever the topic of creating success online comes up, the first thing I try to explain to people is that at some point you will have to differentiate yourself from everyone else out there. You know, what makes you unique, what makes you special, and what exactly are you bringing to the table that is going to help someone.
The only way to do this correctly is by branding yourself as a leader online. This means that you will have to become proficient at writing articles and doing videos, and comfortable at placing pictures of yourself and even posting your phone number directly on your website.
This also means that you will have to share your life through social media websites, like twitter, youtube, facebook, and myspace, and you may have to be a presenter on a webinar or conference call as well.
What I am trying to say here is that if you want to become a top earner in this industry and establish yourself to have success for many years to come, you will have to stand up, break out of your shell, and lead the pack!
So how do you become a leader and when do you decide the time is right?
1. Learn and apply the skills first. If you don't already have the skills to do the activites I have described above, find a place that provides all of the tools, training, and support needed to learn how to do all of these things. 2. Have a great attitude and present yourself in a professional manner. In everything that you put out, make sure that you are being yourself, having great enthusiasm, and being professional and courteous at all times. It is ok to be brash, confident, and abrasive, but not to be abusive.
3. Build your personal story. As you go about becoming a success online, be mindful of how you are achieving your success. Start to put down on paper who you are, how you got to this point, and who you are helping. Make sure to include all of the personal details that make sense based on what you are trying to accomplish.
So when is the time right for you to stand up and lead the pack?
When you have a complete story and can not only tell it very well, but actually help other people achieve success online. The barometer of a great leader is always the success of the people who are following behind.
A few last words of wisdom. Always remember that even though you are branding yourself as a leader, you still have a hugh responsibility to come through on your promises. So don't just talk a good game, get out there and play hard with your followers as well.
